Hello! I’m Gianna Gonzalez, UTD student and visual artist from Dallas, Texas. I work primarily in digital, video and print. I’m deeply influenced by internet culture, our beautiful natural world, and the weird spot where they intersect. I love art about making art, whether it’s a poignant autobiographical piece or the billionth seasonal anime about girl bands. My current project takes inspiration from independent musicians and their stories. When I’m not burning my retinas with blue light, I enjoy being an amateur guitarist and trying new kinds of coffee and tea. I believe strongly in post-irony and the power of friendship.
