Chris Perry

Chris’ favorite superhero is the Flash, due to his mercurial wit.

He believes what makes a hero a hero is that they do what they do despite their fears, despite the fact they may be a little chicken. They face their fears and shortcomings and plod ahead.

A sense of humor can light the darkest path. He feels that’s why it’s called being light-hearted.Whether illustrating books for kids or creating super hero chickens his art encourages people to be brave heroes. His sculptural art makes use of lights and darks to create beautiful pictures. Why? Because we need dark to see the light. Because heroes are not heroes unless they are first afraid. Because “Every Hero is a Little Chicken.
