Tu Nguyen is a Senior Story Animator at NaughtyDog in Santa Monica, CA where he is currently working on Intergalatic: The Heretic Prophet. He’s been with NaughtyDog for over 2 years now and prior to that, he was a Senior Animator at Gearbox Software in Texas for 11 years, where he worked on everything from the Borderlands series, Battleborn, and even a Penn & Teller VR game. Tu studied animation at a small art school in the Carolinas, which is where he got his start in the game industry as well. With over 20 years in the animation industry, he finds motivation everyday in the amazing work that is produced around him in making a AAA video game.
Outside of the game industry, he loves to take in a horror movie or check out the newest food truck around the corner.
