Elise Hatheway

Elise Hatheway, a seasoned Visual Development Artist based in Dallas, TX, has over 15 years of experience in the animation industry. Elise claims New Orleans as her hometown, but developed her skills and start in the industry at Savannah College of Artist in Design in Georgia. Her career started out in 3d modeling working for TurboSquid, but quickly realized her passion was for Visual Development. Elise specializes in environment design and paint, and has a particular love for colorscripting. Her most recent accomplishment includes contributing to Paramount Animation’s upcoming film, “The Spongebob Movie: Search for Squarepants” (2025). Among her diverse portfolio, she has worked on “Thelma the Unicorn”, “Maya and the Three”, “The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part”, “Book of Life”, “Free Birds”, and “Ugly Dolls”. Throughout her career, Elise has collaborated with studios such as Disney, Warner Bros, Netflix Animation, Animal Logic, Reel FX, Gaumont Animation, and Tangent Studios. Currently, she is immersed in her role at Sony Pictures Animation, where she is contributing to an upcoming feature that is yet to be announced.
