Rod Douglas is a storyboard artist, Head of Story, and visual storyteller whose career has spanned animation, film, television, games, and visual development. His credits include Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius, The Ant Bully, The Book of Life, Rumble, UglyDolls, and The Chosen animated series.
Throughout his career, Rod has worked with a variety of studios and creative teams, including Reel FX, DNA Productions, HKS Architecture, and Brazen Animation, where he served as Head of Story and contributed to story development, storyboarding, directing, and creative supervision.
Beyond production, Rod is passionate about mentoring artists and sharing his experience with the next generation. He has spoken at colleges and industry events, participated in portfolio reviews, and currently teaches animation and storyboarding at Collin College. His focus is on cinematic storytelling, character performance, visual communication, and helping artists develop the skills to navigate an ever-changing industry.
